I wanted a pair of riding boots to wear at my wedding. I have a tough time with fitting in boots as I have not only a larger calf, but also both a wide foot and a high instep, making pull-on boots difficult if not impossible for me.I saw these boots that have a front zip and leaned heavily toward buying them, but I hesitated as I'd never heard of the company, and $300 after taxes is a lot of money to put out if they didn't work. But, it's my wedding and I wanted to go all out. So, with a littlebmore than 2 months left I went ahead and ordered. Size 10, 2-plus calf, thinking that would fit.I got them and the foot part of the boot fit perfectly. The zip front is extra helpful as it unzips completely, and then re-fastens easily. However it turned out I had mis-measured, the shaft was way too big. I re-measured my calf and determined one size down would have helped.The seller were easily contacted and l extremely helpful in both getting my order returned and shipping out a replacement. I did have to pay for the shipping for both the return and the replacement, but when the replacement pair came they fit perfectly. Not only that but I still had time to wear them a couple times in order to break them in before the wedding! I got lots of compliments and I am fairly certain I'll wear them again just for the heck of it. A+!
