These boots fit perfect, very comfortable andLook awesome! The Rieker brand has never let me down.My quest for the perfect boot is over. After years of wearing comfy shoes on the journey to work and changing into heels in my bag, not only do I have corns and intolerant toes but I'm used to lugging a fair weight around with me. I'm so jealous of men leaving the house in the shoes they will wear all day long so I've bought umpteen pairs of black chelsea style boots in a quest to find something I can wear all day, feel comfortable in and still look smart. Bear in mind my feet are damaged from wearing pointed heels so I've been looking for wide fits that are still stylish for a youngish person. Often you have to go for a rounded toe which isn't great for work, or 'wide fit' extends to the top of the boot too so it's not snug against your leg or the boot feels very clunky. This slightly pointed-toed, small but definitely heeled boot is amazing. I stuck them on (brand-new first wear) at 7am and got home at 7.30pm and it was like I'd been wearing them all my life. I cannot believe how quality this boot is for the price. Now to throw out the 6 pairs of BR (before Reiker) chelsea boots I have. Sorry boots, you've been utterly trumped by the masters. Time to make room for more Reikers!The comfort and fit are lovely but I was very disappointed when I wore them for the first time today in damp conditions. It had been raining and the street was damp. I wasn't walking in any puddles but found the soles of my socks getting wet. Doesn't seem much to ask that a pair of ankle boots keep your feet dry. I wouldn't expect them to be waterproof if I was splashing through water but I certainly wasn't. Can I return the boots even though I have worn them? I don't think they will be much use to me if I can only wear them on a bone dry day.Have just tried these on....they are so comfortable and warm I am a size 3 and a 3 fits perfectly. ..They are narrow in fit....Very good quality, good fit. Will definitely order again.Good comfortable boots I have several Reiker boots and shoes. They unfortunately let in water though.
