I normally wear a 7.5 M. I have another pair of Stuart Weitzman booties and those ran a half size small. I ordered those in a size 8. I decided to order these OTK boots in an 8 as well. These are perfect especially if if you want to wear a thicker sock. I still have room for my toes about a half an inch or so. To me this is fine. I don't want my toes to be squished. The ankle is a little loose but I think it has to be so you can get your foot inside the boot. This is not a big issue for me. I didn't think these would fit my calves since they are a little muscular but not to the point where I would need a wide calf boot. These fit like a glove! I am very happy with my purchase because I can truly say I finally found my pair of OTK boots. I have bought and returned a lot of OTK boots because either I didn't like how they fit or they weren't "perfect" enough for me.
