So far I really dig these boots. They look good in jeans or with a suit, and I wear them with both, regularly.They seem to fit true to size. If in doubt, if you feel they're just a little too snug, you can get them stretched or let time do the stretching; or you can get them slightly larger and just add an insole/arch support. These feel fine for me, but I'm adding a small arch support because they are rather flat and (true to size), leave me with just a little wiggle room as expected.Quality seems good, they don't really scratch up very easily (so far), and seem fairly durable. I usually have the uppers hidden under jeans, so am not too worried about the embroidery getting messed up.They don't emit that terrible petroleum smell that some other black shoes do -- these seem like quality leather so far. I'm a little bummed that they're not actual crocodile/caiman whatever, but for the price, it's totally understandable.
