I got these a few months ago but have only gotten around to reviewing them now. I’ve wanted a pointed toe stiletto bootie for some time and saw these while on sale, so I thought I’d try them out. For sizing, I went up a half size from my normal 8, but I have wider feet, and going up a half size has worked in my favor with all shoes I’ve purchased from Amazon. They are just a bit big, but with socks on, it’s not a problem.Like the title says, the heel was a bit higher than I anticipated; product page says it’s a 4.7” heel but I measured it as 5” at the highest point. It should also be mentioned that since these shoes aren’t a sock-style bootie, they are quite rigid in the front and don’t bend easily, so they feel VERY steep and somewhat unforgiving, like I’m on my tippy toes all the time! I’m sure someone’s caught me walking with bent knees, lol.With all that said, these shoes are exactly what I was looking for, and they are to die for!…literally and figuratively. Just have to get used to the height.
