These are pretty boots, especially for the price point. Once on, they are fairly comfortable, however, they are very very very stiff. Also, when you are sliding your heel in, it kind of rubs on the zipper which is uncomfortable. I bought the 8.5 wide, which fits around my foot and ankle and mostly through the calf. As you can see in the picture there is a weird gap around the knee area, which is somewhat noticeable while riding. All in all, great schooling boots or good first pair of leather tall boots for the price point; does not give the tailored look some other non-custom brands do
