I know what you're thinking! Like how could a 5+inch heel be comfortable? But it is! Matter of fact, I have them on right now! I've had them on for the past 4 hours, and they feel fine! (And yes, I have been walking around the house and outside to get the mail) I read another review that stated the heel wasn't sturdy, but it feels fine to me! I will be going to the market in a bit, and I will intentionally wear them out. IF I should discover anything negative, I will edit my review. But if there is no edit, trust that these are a great pair of HIGH-heeled booties! EDIT: It is May 4th, and I still LOVE these booties! No issues at all, and LOTS of compliments. While I bought a size 10, my regular shoe size is 9.5. (I like to wear thicker sox with all boots and booties). Also, my arch is a little high, which might contribute to the great fit. CHEERS!
